Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced reputable electrician for small jobs who's willing to come to Charles County???

Whatever you do, DO NOT call B.H. Milling! He does crude ax-job carpentry work surrounding the electric work, and he leaves screws loose, leading to shorts and burnt components. And that's after he's spent several hours yakking your ear off, delivering his expert opinions on everything from shoes to ships to green envelopes.

I just had our own Riverrat and her crew come and finish the electrical work on my barn..they did a great job and were very reasonable...They work out of Laplata.

RiverRat is a Master Electrician and can do it all and has a crew and owns buisiness. I've known River for about 15 years and RiverRat is very good. RiverRat works out of Charles County (Hughesville/Waldorf/Brandywine area), and works in all three counties, can pull permits and everything. I second your recommendation As a roommate and friend from what I've observed is RiverRat is too cheap... the prices and estimates are waaaaaayyyy toooooo low.

Good thread! I need another outside electrical outlet run. I was thinking of doing it myself but may just call to get a quote.
