Looking for good home

Ok guys, my ex husband has yet again proven himslef to be the world's biggest butthead. I got a call from his mother telling me that he is absolutely not taking care of his dog she is. I told her I would try to find Bruitis a new home.

He is a 1.5 year old Pit Bull that we got from a rescue in Ft. Lauderdale. He's all black with a white patch on his chest. He has had problems with demodex but his immune system is mature enough now to keep it from coming back. He is super friendly with people. He is very good with female dogs but does not do well with other male dogs. He's very good with kids. My nephew use to wrestle around with him all the time.

Most of you know that since my seperation I've moved back in with my parents and they will absolutely not let me have him. My mom is scared of big dogs. I know most of you already have dogs but if you could just keep your eyes and ears open for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Bk, stop it! It's not funny. It makes me very sad to have to do this. We got that dogs together and I love him to death. Noah will never get to run and play with him because his father is a jerk and can't take care of his responsibilities.

I'm going to use that as a final option. I'm very leary of advertising a Pit Bull in the classifieds. There are too many people arond this area that only want them as a status symbol. I'd ideally like to find a frriend of a friend type situation so that I know he's going somewhere safe. If I have no luck here I will try the classifieds.

I wouldn't advertise a Pit Bull in the classifieds (no offense, Vrai) -- any classifieds. You have to screen very carefully who would get this dog to make sure they understand the breed and just excactly WHY they want him.

I'll check around later today for other sites. Have you looked for Pit rescue groups in the area?

And BK, stop it with the cat references AND the restaurant stuff.
