Looking for inexpensive caterer

I'm throwing a 50's style party with about 100-150 ppl and looking into possibly using a caterer. The menu would be what you would find in a diner, like cheeseburgers, hotdogs, french fries and things of that nature. Does anyone know if there is a local caterer that would be good to use and not break the bank?

Use caution here... You get what you pay for. Good food will make your party rememberable. Bad food will make people remember it too, but for the wrong reasons.

We used Sunshine Catering for our wedding, but they also do more casual events like cookouts. They have a mobile food truck that they take to events like the River Concert Series in St. Mary's City. As for price, they are somewhere in the middle... But like the previous poster said, you get what you pay for. Their food is excellent, and their attention to detail is remarkable. These guys (Pat and Cyndi Michael) are a class act and I would recommend them to anyone. Sunshines Catering - Home

Chuck Bates at Ruby Tues in California, MD has a great caterer there. The food is awesome. Go by and ask for Chuck.

Wow, for a casual BBQ type event I think there are a couple of places that do it.
Sunshine is always a good choice
Bear Creek
I've seen trucks for other people plus those that usually set up at Sotterly for the Wine Fest and over at CMM for the concerts. Just can't think of them all.
