I use Dr.Patel in Leonardtown, but I can tell you, that he's not the best. He wrongly diganosed my daughter with a pulled muscle and with in two weeks , she was in more pain than she was. The doctors at St.Mary's hospital did bloodwork and scans and then sent her to Children's...this is where we found out she has cancer. I ask you to think hard before you think about going with him. Dr.Patel is really hard to get any referal from as well. I heard Dr. Dillon is really good.

Both my girls see Dr. Silpasuvan "Dr. Silpa". She is in Huntingtown. So its a bit more of a drive. But my grandmother was an ob nurse, and she was the Dr. my grandmother wanted my to take my first daughter when she was born. Both my girls love her. She will fit you in that day if you need to be seen.

Dr Amit Sheth in California, MD (but I'm not sure he's taking new patients). He is definately worth giving a shot though. He is very thorough and will actually listen to us parents if we have questions or concerns. I've heard some negative stuff about his wife and billing practices but I've never experienced either. I switched to Dr Sheth over a year ago and wished I had done so sooner.

His wife is the down fall of his office. I've experienced the billing issues. I now have a new pediatrician, but I miss Dr. Sheth :bawl: I just wish his wife would go back to India. :killingme

Yep, I've read several posts on here about the wife and the billing. I guess I count myself lucky that my kids are healthy and only go to the Dr once a year for their annual check-ups. Any other illness (colds and what-nots) are handled with OTC meds.
