Looking for Pup

My daughter has been asking for a puppy for a couple months now. Thinking about getting her one for Easter. I need help in finding exactly what I want to get her. First of all, I'm allergic to dogs...so need something with short hair that won't make me sneeze all the time. Second...want something small. If anyone out there can help me...I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

We had a shih tzu growing up and he was so much fun! My little sister was 7 when we got him. He was really great with little kids, had lots of energy, potty trained prety easy, but best of all, he calmed down real well at bedtime!

why not wait til summer and get a saint bernard lol....I got a saint and they are gentle giants.
