looking to get a new cell phone

Looking for an Android with a great camera. What would you recommend or not recommend? What features are the must-haves? Is it worth it to get one with 5G?

Amongst android phones, the Pixels are among the best. Of course the current pixel 4 and 4a have other issues, if you can wait for the Pixel 5 this fall, might be best.

One Plus is decent ..... I currently have a Samsung Note 10+

the battery lasts me 2 days .... but I don't do much more than WAZE away from home, going to and from work

My TING bill for 3 lines [ all smart phones ] is between 45 - 60 per month

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Had the Note 4 prior to this phone. Takes very good pictures. I haven’t used a stand alone camera in years. I will most likely hold out for 5G capability in my next phone. The Note phones have served me well. If I didn’t have a Note phone, I’d probably go for a Pixel phone.

I've got an LG Stylo™ 5 with a 13MP camera and it's more than adequate for what I do. I refuse to pay more than a couple hundred bucks for a phone. I do most of my financials on it, too. It has face recognition, fingerprint reader, a 6.2" display, and won't break the bank.

You have Ting as well? I've been with them for about 5 years. Cut my bill by half if not more for 2 smart phones. I have no complaints.

Yep .... for over 3 yrs now ....

when I lost my iPhone 5S I needed a replacement ...

but I was NOT paying Sprint full price [4 of us were on the family plan]

so I bought a One Plus 1 .... did Straight talk for 6 months and then found Ting
