1) Reseat the RAM chips
2) run BIOS HDD and mother board diags.
3) make sure the air ducts are clear (blow canned compressed air thru them)

Most likely issue will be an OS reload, but eliminate the hardware first.

A new one this one keeps locking up

Ducts were cleaned and it crashed again Monday, hard. Took a complete restart from Toshiba including default settings. Lost all my recent stuff and software and favorites. I had back up most things a month ago, but some passwords had been changed. It has worked since after crashing about the same time everyday for a week or so.

Sounds like it was an OS issue. If it happens again, and you have unrecovered stuff, let me know. I can usually capture it before reinstalling the OS.

I think I may have done it wrong. Picked the wrong option. I picked door # 2 which said it would save my files and docs and it did not.
