I was watching one of the hunting shows on cable Monday and this fella, I forget who he was, was shooting balloons at 1038 yards, he was basically selling DVDs about how to shoot distance shots.

I find that to be rather useless to us Southern Maryland folk, since there's a new pharmacy popping up every 500 yards and blocking the shot... La Plata has a whole herd of them now. I guess if you stood on 235 and shot North from the base, you might have enough room, if the traffic lights every 50 yards don't get in the way that is. It's a shame, Southern Maryland used to be like Montana, now it's like D.C. "Everyone "want live" in southern Maryland":lmao:

Where my blind is right now, my furthest shot would be around 350 yards... maybe 400.

I tried at around 200 yards last night and missed with my muzzleloader.
