Lost Black Cat

Please help. Our cat went missing sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning (11/11/09, 11/12/09). We live in White Plains (Charles Co) in Foxhall Estates, which is just off of Billingsley Road (between the Kings View and Highgrove developments).

Our cat's name is Treasure. He is a solid black, medium to large in size, 7 years old, neutered male. If you have seen him, please call (301) 705-5115. Thanks!

Sometimes they hide for shelter and end up trapped in a neighbors garage or something.

Wishful thinking I guess.

Just letting everyone know that our "Treasure" came home last night! After 3 weeks of being gone, he showed up at our back door whining and meowing to get in. We couldn't believe it! He's a little on the thin side, but seems fine other than that. I guess you should never give up hope!

That's GREAT news!!! We had a black cat once that disappeared for 2 - 3 weeks every winter, then came home. I joked that he went on a cruise, but figure some little kid or lonely elderly person in the neighborhood just thought he was lost and took him in for a while. Then, the first chance he got to get out, he came home. It actually happened one year just before Christmas. He came home Christmas Eve! Looks like you got your present a little early!!
