Wildewood.

Lovely, sweet but scared. Long haired tri-color female. Recently given birth. SHe's ben hanging around my work for at least a week.

Today I got close enough to her so see how thin she was and that she has an injury on the left side of her head.

I"m coming back here tonight with a carrier to pick her up, but I don't know what to do with her. I"m allergic and she needs medical attention.

let me know if you can direct me to a person or place. I"ll pm my number. She's not wild, she's just too sweet for me to call animal control.

TIA:flowers:

I'm sending you a pm...

Thanks so much Catt.:huggy:

That sweet thing is now safe in the hands of one of your neighbors and she will be taking her to the vet at 9 am.

It wasn't easy, I drove all over town, crawled on the ground , employed the kindness of several strangers and forced my  daughter to sit through the whole thing.

She is going to be someone's beautiful pet again one day:yay:

Where are the kittens?

I looked but found none:shrug: I'll look again tomorrow when the light is better and I have more time. She was so bone thin that her skin was sagging down on her tummy. I felt every vertebrae in her spine:barf: I didn't want to over handle her but I think I was wrong about recently having a litter.

As for her wound, I first thought mange, but again I could be wrong.

I will find out more tomorrow, hopefully. Miss D is supposed to meet up with me again to give back the carrier:yay:

(Thanks the kid at Wendy's for the makeshift water and food dishes, the nice people from PAWS who did their best and most of all Cattitude for getting me in touch:clap:)

I've been all about animals this week..

I can't wait for the otters to come out and play at my Moms:yahoo:

The manager at my bank has been going on about how squirrels stay in their nests:lol: They think I'm jungle girl.

I've been collecting strays all my life and people generally over look them:frown: That makes me sad.

People have been commenting me on a picture I have with a piglet a lot lately.

I have now moved from birds to fish, which are my first intentional pet since I had ferrets, waaay back.

My dog is the best boyfriend I've had in years:lol: And I don't mean that to be NASTY you pervs.:nono:

I'm trying to talk my future husband in to taking up horse rescue. This guy is critter crazy and he'd be perfect for it. He showed me how to check a turkey's butt and it the only guy I know who can out smart a pissed off bull in a confined space and not come out limping:lol:

I need a shirt that says Ellie May on it:lol:

Kitty is a beautiful med haired calico. Friendly, front paws had been declawed, and we think she was already spayed. We called in a found report to Tri-County. Kitty tested neg for felv/fiv and she was vetted. Kitty will stay with a volunteer for two weeks for observation/fattening up and will then go back to the rescue.
