H.D., our hound dog, is missing! He wandered out of the yard on 8/9 and has not returned. He is ginger and black, with a white chest and white socks/feet. H.D. has a hound's ears (the left has a wart) and a thin, Fox-like nose. He is about 75 lbs and he is at least 9. A rescue, we are not sure of his actual age. He is super-friendly and has all his shots, so he can be approached if spotted. H.D. is microchipped.

Please keep an eye out for him and contact us if you find him or have any leads. Please also feel free to share this information with others. We really want to find our little man! We can be reached here or at 240-577-5566.

thank you!!!

area

We live on Myrtle Point Road (just off Rte 4 and Kingston Creek Road) and he wandered off on Thursday after noon.

We got a call-in that H.D. was spotted on Friday morning taking shelter from the rain under a car on Cove Manor Road (near Myrtle Point Park off Patuxent Blvd) but he moved on before anyone could catch him....please keep an eye out for him, as he may be in that area still or have moved on to Hollywood, Pax Beach or wherever his little feet have taken him! Thanks!!

Does HD have any known vision issues? Like blindness or near blindness?

No worry. The dog we have found is going to be chip-scanned right now. If it's HD, we'll know it.

H.D. found and home!

Alas. No. It was not HD. We did find the owner, however. He was chipped.

Thanks, all! H.D. was found and kept safe by a kind woman on Mill Cove Road and then treated very well by Amanda with Animal Control. He is home and recovering!

So glad the other dog mentioned also made it home!!
