lost dog

A dog has wonderer into our parking lot. No tags. I walked over to the neighbors and they have never seen the dog. Very nice dog. She keeps going under our patients cars and I don't want her to get hit. Our office is right on 235 and I have no idea where this dog could of come from. Called animal control and left a message. Called their emergency number and got the answering machine. Is there someone else I call or do I just wait for animal control to call? She is just laying in front of the door right now.

Well maybe if you post what kind of dog, where your office is, somebody may know who the dog belongs to or may find the information helpful if they are missing a dog.

I take it she has no collar? :ohwell:

no collar. dental office on the corner of 235 and rt 4. don't know what kind of dog it is. mid-size. Just took a pic. Gonna try to post it. Give me a sec

animal control called and they will be here shortly to get her. Extremely freindly dog. Playful. If she is yours please get her. I'm gonna tell animal control to call us if no one claims her. Don't wanna see anything bad happen to her

animal control guy said that the dog is an australian cattle dog and he feels it will have no problem being adopted out so if she is yours he said you have 6 days to claim her before she goes to a new family

Right...she'll go to the shelter, and they hold strays for a while...if they need space, have a seizure/neglect case, etc - they will need to make room for more dogs coming in, and there's only one way they do that...

He told us to call in 2 days to see if she is still there
