Lost Dogs (Dunkirk) ... Golden Retreiver and a black with brown dog

Hi all,

My two dogs got out of the yard this afternoon. A male golden retriever, named Scout and a black with some brown markings female dog named Sable. Both are wearing their collars with id tags. The telephone number is on the tag. Both dogs are very friendly.

Scout has epilespy and needs his medication every morning. Sable has a hurt back leg and will probably be limping after her 'excursion' this afternoon.

If you happen to see them, but aren't close enough to get them ... if you could just let me know ... you can email me through this site ... I'll start looking in that area.

Thanks in advance.

Where in Dunkirk? What area?

Call the non-emergency number for the sheriff..410-535-2800 and give them the information. Sometimes people will call them if a dog is found.

Good luck.

We've got them! :yahoo:

They turned up after the storm, soaking wet and muddy. They both are pretty sore this morning.

Two years ago they got out and were hit at the crossover/median of Route 4 and Apple Way at Apple Greene. Whoever hit them, left the scene. They were found the next morning ... the vet said the Golden had about 30 minutes left in him .. he was hypothermic, bleeding internally. The other one had her ankle shattered. These two dogs are inseparable, so we assume they were hit by the same car.

They've not got out of the yard since that day ... but we think they must have seen a deer in the woods behind us yesterday. Part of the fence was pushed down.

Anyway ... they are home ... looking all sad and pityful, but safe and dry now.

Thanks.
