I'm posting for a friend of a friend. She has requested her phone number be given out. She has flyers out everywhere, and a lost and found ad as well. The owner had just moved to Golden Beach when the landlord went into the residence and the dog escaped out the door.

LOST FEMALE PUG

Please help me find my Chloe. She is a 2-1/2 year old fawn pug. She ran away on 5/6/09 and has been seen in the Lauren Ridge subdivision of Mechanicsville as well as in the parking lot of the Chesapeake Oncology Center on Golden Beach Road (5/31/09) She has her shots but is not wearing a rabies tag. She has a pink adjustable collar. Chloe sticks her tongue out a lot and is skiddish. She can be bribed with food and when last seen was very scared.

Reward of $100 for safe return. Call 240-682-3226, 240-249-3037 or email Theresa.dorsey@ vzw. blackberry. net. Thank you

Hope she's home soon. Hate to think of her outside if we get the storms they're calling for this afternoon/evening.

I love her wild,wild hair
Hope you find Chloe soon! Pugs are so cool, my daughter has wanted one for years. I think the looks on their faces are priceless.

I live very close I'll keep my eyes peeled...

That would be great. The owner says she's very skiddish, so she probably won't come to you, but you may be able to bribe her with some food. She's been on her own for awhile now, so she has got to be hungry.

I'm one street over from where Chloe was last scene. I just got back in after another walk in the rain. Nothing but getting wet.

she hunkered down for the day

look off the beaten path, under bushes, in people's back yard, near a tree line.
Get on google earth enter your address and look at the tree coverage and water ways. The pet will need water no matter what. Look for home owners who feed birds. The dog will eat seed, can't get into trash too easily, will also eat deer scat. (they love this stuff)

get a trap

The humain society will loan you a trap. Cat food is the most smelly and attracts easily. Also provide a piece of your clothing in front of trap and inside. May scare others away, but will entice your pet.

Update from Chole's owner

I received a call that Chloe has been seen (yet again!) over in Laurel Ridge. She has been hanging on Overlook Court. The reason she has been there is due to one of the residents over there having a cat named Chloe. She has been there four days in a row. I have taken some of my personal things over there along with some food to the area.

Please keep a lookout for her. It appears she has been eating cat food in the area. If you see her please contact the numbers above.

She's Home!!!!!!!

Sorry it took so long to inform everyone - I had to register for an account and it took 24 hours to validate.

Chloe is back home. I found her at 3:30 yesterday afternoon in Laurel Ridge. She was in a backyard hiding underneath a pickup truck. She wouldn't come to me at first, and I had to coax her over after sitting on the ground and convincing her that I wasn't going to hurt her. Once she realized it was me (and that she wasn't in trouble..lol) she came to me and it was a VERY happy reunion.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me get her home. I could not have done it alone.

If I can help anyone else who has a dog that has run away, please let me know. I'd like to pay it forward.
