Lost Puppy

I found a little black puppy yesterday at Elm's Beach. She looks to be a lab/retriever mix. She is young and very sweet. I rode around knocking on doors in the area in the hopes of finding the owner, but did not. I'm hoping that she just escaped and has not been abandoned by her owner. I can't keep her. If you know of anyone that is missing a puppy, please let me know. I'll be taking her to St. Mary's animal shelter this week.

Too many dogs and cats are left in that part of the county. People think that it is rural enough that they won't get hit by a car and that folks will just take them in.
