Loud Booms & Light In Pikesville

There was a similar mystery in Indiana and it was discovered that it was fighter planes setting off flares or some such.

The key I think is that it happens ONCE when it occurs, always late at night. So weather patterns, electrical discharges, gas leaks - probably ruled out because there's no way to keep them from going on often. *Something* else happens with the same timetable, whether it's a load distribution on an electrical grid or an adjustment in a gas line.

They need to look at shadows or set something up with a camera to be certain WHERE the source of the light is. I don't think they're sure where it's coming from yet.

I would think a higher speed camera would help out in determining the location of the occurance since it is so fast and happens just once.
