Lowes, you s*ck!

Dear Lowes, I didn't really expect you to have salt in stock, but it would have been a nice surprise. I came in to get some seeding starting supplies since it is that time of year. You didn't have half the stuff I came in for. But you did have lots of Dog Food. There are no garden stores within 10 miles of you, but there are two major pet stores within a 1/2 mile. Doesn't make a lot of sense.
BTW, I appreciated all the flower pots outside being displayed way above my head. Luckily I found a random broom to get one down. It didn't even land on my head.
As a customer and stock holder, I think you are s*cking.

Which Lowe's are you referring to? The ones in La Plata, Waldorf, and Calfornia all have Wal-marts not far from them, which have garden centers in them as well. I can't speak for what they have in stock aside from the California one.

Rumor has it that some enterprising individuals were able to buy up 50-60 bags of salt so they can make them available to you on local classifieds and Facebook marketplace for about $40-50 per bag. Try there...

Unless it was delivered in the last day or two no one has salt or ice melt right now. Sneade's up here was selling 50lb. bags of urea as an ice melter. It does work but has to be 25 or above for it to activate.

As far as dog food goes, I didn't know Lowe's sold it but since so many people treat their dogs better than they do their kids it makes sense.

You know, it there was a local Buc-ees, you could get rock salt, deer corn, a brisket sandwich, a kolachee, some exotic meat jerkies, a tree stand, use a very clean bathroom and get enough beaver nuggets to diabetize a small island nation.

This was California Lowes. The tundra on my driveway is passable, but will be screwed if we get another ice event. Didn't expect anyone to have salt, but check whenever I go into a store just in case.
The garden supplies were things I needed to look at. I hate going into the zoo that is Walmart. Did a pick up order earlier this week for groceries and almost got hit twice in the parking lot.
Lowes just recently started carrying a lot of dog food and people clothes.

Prior planning prevents piss poor performance. (Six p's remember and put them to good use)

in NH we used Calcium (and lesser Pottasium) chloride.. even at Negative Temps you could hear the ice POP when it made contact, and it would burn a hole in the ice down to the tar/ cement and melt from the bottom up.

With urea just keep in mind that it does have a distinct.......................aroma.
Never noticed that. Used it on the lawn for sone quick release nitrogen, but I never kept the bag where it could get wet.

Never had success storing old bags of salt, come summer, they absorb moisture.
