Lowest tide I think I've seen since I lived here.

Just passed through St. Mary's City and the water was the lowest I've ever seen was pretty crazy.

Sustained winds out of the N or NW with a moon waining...It is not infrequent in Jan-Feb.
If you can bear the cold,...it might be a neat time to explore some shoreline!

The Kenai Peninsula has some severe tides. At low time walking down the docks in Seward is like navigating a kid's sliding board.

In Bar Harbor, ME, you can walk out to 1 of the islands at low tide. But you will have to swim back at high tide.

Saw that a few weeks back during another windy day. More gulls than I've ever seen in that area at one time as well.
