Things are ok for the time being -- I always come out ahead in the football pools... every year I use them to subsidize my income and generally come out a few thousand bucks ahead.

Just because you can't choose football teams accurately does not mean that I can't :shrug: What are your picks for next week? :shrug:

By the way, if I lost money at it, I would stop doing them but I always come out ahead!!

For the person that gave me bad krama and said "gambling is evil" -- I want you to know the Bible says absolutely nothing about gambling -- what it does talk about is being foolish with your money. I'm not being foolish because I ALWAYS come out ahead. I'll take the luck just the same though!! thanks!! The odds are pretty good too -- carolina was the only team to win all their preseason games.

I like Carolina, (not as a favorite) (Oakland are the beasts ) although they lost but a good game.

It helps me :shrug: If someone like me is going to hit and win the big money pots, it generally is in the first few weeks of the season before teams start establishing winning records, etc.... so I look at pre-season, injuries, points fielded, points allowed, etc.... in their preseason games. With no losses and checking their stats, Carolina looked to be the better team.

If not it'll come down to points and the only way I could guess at that was to total each teams preseason points and divide by number of games to see what each team has scored on average and then I added Carolina's average to Green Bay's average. It's only preseason games but that was all I had to go off of :shrug:
