I applaud your efforts to bring events and instructors to the area but you should not use the forums to advertise. Other forum members have businesses as well, they generally don't advertise even with a paid ad in the classifieds.

Donna...do you have a paid ad? If you do then I think (IMO) that its great you put this on the forum. FS2, I think you are a great forumite, but I like it when people post this (if they have paid ads) because I dont' check the classifieds, and this is the only way I find out about cool stuff like this.:howdy:

I think it is wonderful when the forum is used to get out educational material, clinics, helpful suggestions,... instead of the non positive that happens alot!

Absolutely! Discuss to your heart's content when you've followed the rules and paid for an ad. Otherwise Robin should be able to give us a 'Special of the Day', the breeders should be able to post sale ads and I should be able to bore you to tears w/ a discussion on the saddle I have for sale.

If advertising in the forums were to get out of hand I wonder how long the mods would allow us to have this?

I would LOVE to hear about your saddle!! :killingme

I get what you're saying, sometimes there's a fine line between a discussion and an ad.

It wouldn't fit a skinny long legged girl. Maybe if you did Ben & Jerry's for the next few years! From your pics you could probably eat that way and still look lean. Please don't tell me you already do, it will kill me...
