Lucky Dog

Took my cat to the vet this morning and there was a man there with this big dog that looked like a chocolate lab mix. I noticed the dog had a nub for a tail and the woman next to me commented that they probably cropped it because it was so big he was probably hitting stuff with it. A little later, I heard the owner telling someone else the dog jumped into the water and a gator bit his tail off a long time ago. :faint:

I say Lucky because he only lost his tail.

I thought I was gonna have to rename one of my kittens..... as my bloodhound was asleep on the couch (with is big E-collar on so he doesnt lick) she crawled around it,.... into it.... and was getting read to lay on top of his head....
when he woke up... and was like.... WHAT THE EFF!!!!! ..... he flung his head around and there went the kitty .... flying thru the air!! :killingme

hey... ... at least he didnt eat it... thats what I thought was gonna happen ... as she startled him

As I child we had a black lab named Thumper, while visiting our grandparents farm our dog loved to chase behind a granddad's trasher. Nothing short of chaining him up would stop him. Tumper lost his tail to the trasher one hot summer day-my granddad grabbed him up; stopped the bleeding and re-named him Stumper.
Accidents happen-Stumper lived another 10 yrs.
