Lucky Number Slevin

Anyone else interested in this film? I hadn't heard of it until a few nights ago when I saw an advertisement on television. I did a search, researched it a small bit, and figured out it's a crime thriller in the vein of Quentin Tarantino's '90s movies (Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown) starring Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Ben Kingsley, Stanley Tucci, and Lucy Liu. Reviews aren't the best ever, but they're solid and it seems to be earning quite a few fans who admire its' dialogue, style, and plot twists. It opens today and I'll give it a shot. I'll post a review later.

Saw this last night and was very impressed. As it to be expected when a film stars Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Ben Kingsley, Stanley Tucci, and Lucy Liu, the performances were great with Hartnett leading the dynamite cast well. It was especially fun to see Bruce Willis kick butt in a rather villianous role as a stone-cold assassin similar to the one Tom Cruise played in Collateral. But it was the script, which is filled with sizzling one-liners, colorful characters, and unpredictable plot twists and turns, which impressed me the most. If you were a fan of films such as these...

Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Snatch.
The Usual Suspects

... I would 100% recommend you see Lucky Number Slevin.
