Yes they did. I would rather my kids learn to do things the right way. Don't get me wrong I know that there are people out there who need a hand up but I'm able to work so i'm not going for the handout.

Sure there are times when working 2 jobs gets to me especially when i work over 65 hours a week but my kids are worth it.

i totally agree. i would rather sit at home and see all of my son's smiles and never miss a milestone. but, i also want him to have everything that he wants and will ever need. i'd rather miss a few moments than sit on my azz collecting other people's tax dollars. not that i haven't paid my share but someone else has already used them, i'm sure.

Well i know for a fact that a new law took effect about child support.They can now go out of state to get you to pay support. It used to be maryland could only go to DC, VA and MD now its anywhere in the us. Trust me if you have filed they will find him. Maybe not today, next week or even in the year but when they find him he will have to pay back child support from the date you filed or go directly to jail, Do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars.

Correction

I stand corrected just got lunch from downstairs and they didn't have the chips I like or any roast beef left. Instead I am now eating Virginia ham and cheese on a croisiant (sp?), hershey kisses and a coke. :mad:

I know that but that isn't helping with the bills now. Its just seems to me that i'm being punished for working hard because if i chose to take the welfare they would go after him alot harder. They already have his address at home and his employers address but the state he is in is waiting on paperwork from MD to garnish his wages. When i talked to them (MD DSS) they said these things take time. Well it's been since April and they still havent done anything. I get the same story every time I call. Quit working so hard sit on your azz and we'll give you whatever you need. No wonder so many people abuse the system. They make it easier for people to sit back like bums and harder on the people who are willing to bust azz. :banghead:
