i was fortunate enough to see this band many times in their heyday, including the first time they toured the united states, backing up the who in 1973.
it disturbs me that they continue to tour as 'lynryrd skynyrd', even though there is only one actual original member in the band, gary rossington.
personally, i think its a ripoff. i prefer to hold on to the memories of a kick ass band, rather than see these guys make money off of their name...........
