So I drowned my sorrows in bad for you food this weekend..and ended up making a neat discovery when making mac and cheese..
Usually I season it with salt and pepper and a little onion powder..but this weekend I was searching around for my onion powder and couldn't find it..so instead I came upon my packets of sazon goya (I have it on hand for yellow rice) so I tossed it with the buttered pasta before I added the cheese sauce..and holy crap it was gooood It added a really great flavor (next time I will put two packets, it was very subtle) and a beautiful color (esp since I use a blend of cheeses not all yellow chedder)
What else is that stuff good on? I think it's my new favorite
