Move along PC people nothing to see here...:lmao:

Have you tried apple.com yet? Hell your comp is still new enough that you should still be under the 1st year of apple care, it should cover OS updates too.

Go into the sound thingy under system preferences. Select output. Make sure the output is set to either line out or digital out, most likely line out is correct for you...

By default it goes to an internal speaker...

Thanks. One of the responses on the Apple support discussion boards suggested that. I'll try it when I get home today. :yay: :fingerscrossed:

If that doesn't work for you, let me know. I can ask my 11 year old step-son. He's an expert on Macs. :geeky: He installed Leopard on his machine the minute we got home from purchasing it. (Yes, each step-son has their own laptop)

... Mac's never have problems.

Yea no kidding... Its just as vulnerable to attacks and such. But the way I see it is this. If you want to take over and run some nice sized bugs would you go for the windows systems or MACs?

Windows generaly have better hardware and MANY more users. Heck if I was a hacker I wouldnt think twice about taking over a MAC. Not worth my time.

Come to think about it I dont know anyone that has a MAC haha

Yeah, I used to be that way too. Now I'd never buy a Windows machine.
