Major house fire in Clements

Major House Fire in Clements - Southern Maryland News, Charles County, Calvert County and St. Mary's County News

12:15 p.m. - Firefighters from all over St. Mary’s County are now responding to and battling a major house fire in Clements, across from Dynard Elementary School. Two Charles County fire engines are also responding.

An early report indicates a resident of the home was injured.

The American Red Cross and Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office are responding.

Right across the field from me...MAJOR flames coming out....Loads of fire trucks and ambulances....Smoke and smell fills the air....I went out and took pictures because the fire was so big and smoke was all over....Came back in to look at the pictures on computer and wifey had the card with her....I took about 25 pictures on no card... Hope everyone involved is OK....

No, that house doesn't face Hurry Rd. It faces Bushwood Road. It's down the road from where I live (off Hurry Road). I don't know the people that live there, but my in-laws live right by them.
