The following news may not astonish many of you, but feel free to quietly claim your cut: The makers of Airborne, a line of popular herbal supplements that was marketed as a “miracle cold buster,” have decided to settle the false-advertising complaints in a class-action lawsuit for $23.3 million, according to one of the plaintiffs in the suit.

I hope they don't go out of business! I know it's not a miracle cure...I always treated it like a vitamin...they just boost the immune system. Somehow I could always remember to take it versus a vitamin. :shrug: I always took it when I was just starting to feel off. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Ha ha! My crazy friend always pesters me about Airborne every time I sniffle. Swears it's some miracle drug, then gets bent when I ignore her.

Another thing was the taste,,,ewwww. I like the theraflu hot tea stuff. My friend also swears that the airborne stuff works for her too.

*knock on wood* It hasn't been too terribly bad illness wise in my house this winter. Kinda wonder if my two monsters (ages 8 and 11) getting the Flumist vaccine this year had any part in that.

it definitely works for me too. the key vis to take it as soon as you feel sick. It may not have prevented every single cold this weekend, but I haven't had a sinus inection since I started taking it regularly
