I saw her make this on an episode of "The Kitchen" Looked easy enough.
It was delicious! I think the next time I make it though, I may add just a little sherry or white wine to it. Very easy prep. I have never liked CFS! It always seemed tough and chewy. There are some terms that just dont go together, chicken fried and steak is one of them! IMHO.So how was it?
This park we're at in Fort Stockton has a little restaurant on premises and their specialty is chicken fried steak. In fact, CFS is apparently a big deal in south and west Texas in general. I have always been grossed out by it and had never had it...before tonight.
It was good, but still gross and it's unlikely I'll ever eat another one.
