Something has attacked my system here at work but every kind of scan I have run hasn't detect anything.
What happens is something opens Internet Explorer (iexplorer.exe) and I get pop ups through out the day. According to Process Explorer, wmiprvse.exe is what's opening IE, but according to everything I've read, the file is legit. I can kill the IE process, which 'fixes' the current issue but 20 minutes, or so, goes by and I have to do it again.
I'm running Windows XP Professional 64 bit and have the AVG anti-virus package installed which checks everything, nightly. I'm sure whatever it was came in on a customers disk because my internet usage is scarce at work.
