Meet Travis McConchie. The 31-year-old corrections officer had a good reason for making the Florida Highway Patrol chase him for half-a-mile before pulling over his Ford pick-up Wednesday morning. No, it wasn't because he was going 73 in a 45 mph zone. And it had nothing to do with the fact that he was drunk, with his blood alcohol level twice the legal limit. And he wasn't even concerned about the pot in his ride. Nope, the Clearwater man...just did not want to interrupt a very tender moment with his girlfriend Bernadette.
