(Hyattsville, MD) The Maryland State Police (MSP) Washington Metro Troop’s Criminal Enforcement Team conducted enforcement patrols in the area of Route 50 and Route 410, Prince George’s County Area.
On September 5, 2019 at 09:26 AM, the Criminal Enforcement Team observed a passenger vehicle with illegal tint and no front registration plate. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver and sole occupant was identified as Antonio Terrell Rowland, 31 years of age, of Bowie, MD.
While speaking with Mr. Rowland, probable cause was developed and a search of the vehicle was completed. Troopers located within the vehicle over 200 grams of marijuana. The marijuana seized has a street value between $2036.00 and $4072.00.
Mr. Rowland was arrested and transported to the Maryland State Police College Park Barrack for further processing. Mr. Rowland was then transported to the Prince George’s Department of Correction Hyattsville Detention Center. Mr. Rowland is currently pending disposition.
