The wife gave me a shopping list. I thought I would get one of the outside carts sitting in the Sun. A guy sitting on a bale of straw by the shopping carts had a shopping list written down on a piece of paper. It was written out very neatly. He asked for some money. I was surprised he asked for twenty bucks. Most of the time folks ask for anything you can spare. I did give him some money. But not twenty bucks. Maybe a scam and maybe not. Who knows.

Target/Giant parking lot usually has an older man or woman with a walker asking for money in the parking lot. I think your Walmart man was just another beggar.

Always humorous to see the median beggars at 235/4 run for the hills when a LEO vehicle approaches. I find that the older white guy likes to run to the Wawa and the tall black guy likes to head towards the Starbucks.

The white guy that is missing fingers loves over on Solomon’s island. He looks far from homeless. Nice jeans and boots on every time I see him. He works the median on 4 between Wawa and Harris teeter most afternoons when it’s nice weather . Saw him in a neighborhood on the island one Saturday morning. He isn’t shy about counting his stack of bills while standing in the median either.

Yeah, Tar Jay usually has someone playing music for money in front of it during the Spring and Summer. Probably will again if the Black Friday shopping is good weather. On the other hand, there will be abundant police around then.

I don’t mind that, they at least are doing something for the money. Besides I like the violin player, I can do without the ersatz Michael Jackson.
