I was just reading that story. I'd like to string that judge up by the short hairs. What the heck was he thinking? :burning:

Yeah, the judge must be zapping the daughter too. :twitch:

The mother needs a good dose of lead too for asking the judge to let the POS move back in to finisht the job.

I read another article that said the judge had made a comment to an 11-year-old sexual abuse victim and her family that "it takes two to tango." :burning:

Let me see if I can find it.

here it is

Montgomery Circuit Court Judge Durke Thompson allowed Richardson to move back in with the family after his first sentence. The judge was publicly reprimanded for defending his ruling in a conversation with a Washington Post reporter.
<!PARA4!>
Thompson also angered women's groups in 2000 when he reproached the parents of an 11-year-old sexual assault victim by saying, "It takes two to tango."

Just a thought.. If Hamurabi Code of Law were in effect, I could guess what the sexual predator/child molestor would suffer in reciprocation (eye for an eye, and so on), but how would you punish the judge? The scenario smells of "Deliverance" to me...

A judge has absolute and total amenity, which has always rubbed me the wrong way.

We need a zero tolerance policy on many crimes, not just probation, family counseling and let them move back home. Sex crimes are one of them. :boo: Child sex offenders will always, 98% of the time, do it again.

That's just way too much power (or lack of civic compassion) that this Judge has. His statements about "two to tango" made me get kinda mad all of a sudden as I imagined myself as one of those parents having to hear that. I would have definately been arrested that day if I were, and GW Hospital would have been conducting an emergency getting-my-foot-outyo-azz-octomy.

I just don't understand why they let them (offenders) back into the house after the statistics pretty much show they will do it again.... :ohwell:
