A man is under arrest in Germany after killing his wife in front of his six young children and cutting her into pieces.

Orhan Sircasi then ran on to the roof of his apartment building clutching her severed head in one hand and a butcher's knife in the other.

The 32-year-old killer of Turkish origin fought off police as they tried to seize him early this morning by lunging at them with the knife and swinging the head like a club.

Last time something like this happened in Germany, the killer delivered his wife's boyfriend's head to her while she lay in the hospital after delivering a child (which I assume wasn't the husbands.. )

I suppose I'm naive to a certain extent.....to be so aghast that this kinda thing still happens today.

Exactly what I was thinking..

I'm sure it was an 'Honor" killing, and possible he could never go to jail...

I mean we have to be recptive or their ways and customs, and if this is the way they do things in Turkey then we can't well enough send them to jail in Germany..
