Oh my God!! What kind of woman would get pissed at him? She is shallow.
His intent was a romantic proposal. Geez woman!

Her butt should have been out there looking for the ring....at his side, not getting pissed at him and refusing to talk to him.

He needs to find another woman. :ohwell:

I'd have been pissed that he was so irresponsible...I wouldn't be demanding another ring, I'd just be pissed he lost the first one.

I completely agree & my heart goes out for this guy. He just lost $12,000 & has a gold digger for a girlfriend! He must have spent so much time planning the perfect proposal & she won't even talk to him? Although I can understand her being upset about him losing that amount of money, his intent was to please her & to make it a memorable day. Marriage shouldn't be just about getting the ring. I hope he leaves her & finds someone else who appreciates his heart instead of his money.

It does make you feel bad for the guy especially because he was trying to be really romantic. I'm the type that thinks things sometimes happen for a reason so maybe this guy really should rethink things especially since she will not talk to him till he buys another ring. It could be sign this is what marriage will be like w/her.

I still think it's irresponsible. I once heard a proposal story about a guy who put a ring in a flower in a field across the street from the restaurant where the couple was going to eat dinner. His plan was to go for a walk after dinner and pick the flower...that is until he saw them getting ready to mow the field.
Fortunately, he saved the ring in time.

Balloons float. Wind blows. If he isn't smart enough and responsible enough to hold on tight, who'd want him for a husband? And if he's stupid enough to go out and buy another $12,000 ring for the greedy 'ho, he deserves her.

NOT Politically Correct!!
Dump that biatch now, if that's her reaction as his GF, she would have taken a 2x4 to his head as his wife!!! :otter:
