Man uses alligator as weapon against girlfriend

A man hit his girlfriend with a 3-foot alligator and threw beer bottles at her during an argument in the couple's mobile home, authorities said

David Havenner, 41, is being held on misdemeanor charges of battery and possesion of an alligator.

If he was Steve Irwin, the article would have said that he threw his girlfriend at the alligator, not the other way around.
