We just got back from the vet. They're performing a necropsy tonight to make sure it's invasive cancer that caused the fluid in his tummy and not FIP. She's pretty sure it's cancer, which would be better for Nacho.

Raise a glass, say a prayer, whatever it is you do. Thanks for all the advice along the way. Let's hope for the best.

To think, we were hoping for kitties on Friday the 13th. This was the farthest thing from our minds. We knew he was sick. He hadn't been himself for a few weeks, lucky had him in to the vet, she said to bring him back in a month. We didn't wait that long, but even if we'd found out sooner, there's really nothing we could have done.
