Took the girlfriend out for our second date since July on Friday night, and took her to see Marc Cohn.
He was phenominal. His new stuff is awesome. If you liked his first self titled CD back in the early 90's (Silver Thunderbird, True Companion, 29 ways, Etc), you'll love his new stuff. It took him getting shot in the head and Hurricane Katrina, to break his writers block, but it was well worth the wait. I picked up his new CD while at the show and it's VERY good! I really like it.
Dunno where his tour is taking him, but if you get the chance to go, if you are even minimally interested, go see him. Very good show.
