I was so shocked to read this, too. How terribly sad for any parent; I guess he's been struggling for while and they tried to get him the help he need.
Eternal rest grant onto him, O Lord.
May the grace of God help his family through this time.

So many young kids committing suicide. It;s almost becoming a fad.

The kids either dont know , or dont care how it hurts their parents and family.

So many times it is over something so trivial.

The Osmonds have faith and that should help them through.

I don't want to sound harsh/come across in a heartless manner, however - did no one in the Osmond family - not see it coming?

No one perceived his depression-like tendencies? It would seem to me that in day-to-day interactions with him, would have raised red flags to one of his friends or family members.

I just can't fathom it............I hope he found peace.
