Looking for a Marine(in dress blues) to participate in a funeral service and blow Taps on the 28th. Marines will participate in the burial in Arlington at a later date but running into alot of misinformation/confusion for the funeral service. Have many calls/emails out but not having much luck. Any info would be appreciated, gentleman in question served in Korea, and followed up his active service in reserves until they retired him due to age. He retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant E-9. Any info/help is appreciated. Thanks

I thought Arlington had a bugler as part of the service?

The funeral directors should have this information readily available. When my dad passed last year in MA, we told funeral home he was a vet, we provided DD214 and they took care of coordinating with military.

As said, the interment at Arlington (which is usually a 3 to 6 month wait) will be handled by the Marines, they do not provide for a local service if the decedent is being buried at Arlington. thanks
