Explosives have gone missing from the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps base in Southern California, the military said Tuesday.

Jeff Houston of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service said a probe was launched into the missing devices, The Associated Press reported.

KGTV reported last week that military officials had launched a search after some 10 pounds of C-4 vanished from the base during a training exercise.

Cheese and Rice ..... a block of C-4 isn't a ' device '

Wasn't black dog recently out there?

That I was, my son was and is still in the back ranges of Palms working up for itx. They were also in the field when the C4 came up missing. I just sent him a text and when he gets it i'll see what he says about the missing plastic, I would bet it was a counting problem in the armory when it left to be used out in the backyard.

yeah.. that's right. you better give that chit back. you'll put an eye out.

LOL.... He just said they have heard nothing about the missing plastic as of yet.
One would guess it was found quickly as he said no base shutdown or a company lockdown then.
