cool

is this outdoor?

I can't think of a big building by the best buy .... Isn't it just a bank and petsmart and red robin?

and the burned down great american steak house or whatever?

Anybody going to this? Still undecided. What all is at them?

Anything computer related......from cables to full computer systems, software, graphics cards, etc etc All of the "vendors" own business's in the dc metro area(mostly mom and pop type places) and go there to boost their sales. You can find some great deals on certain things if you know what you are looking for, you can also haggle them down a little on certain things.

Most vendors charge a few $$ more for using a credit/debit card as opposed to paying for stuff with cash. Cash = cheaper

I heard they don't work well with KVM (least I think that's what as said).

I have the G-15 and it won't work with an usb kvm. That sucks as I rely on my keyboard for gaming. Now I just type faster and have 18 useless keys on the side.

well, I just got back from the show

cheap RAM was a good thing, and also cheap SD cards

I didn't need either unfortunatly.

Everything else was slightly cheaper then newegg (especially when considering shipping) except the monitors which were the most expensive I've ever seen anywhere.

No software at all unfortunatly, which is what I went there for.

Just curious, never been to the show before. I know they charge an admission fee. Last monday on the internet i ordered a 1GB DDR2-400 SO-DIMM memory card fr my laptop for $29.99, when i did that a special light lit up and said any order over $25.00 u can get a 2 GB Flash drive for $9.99, so i said sure why not when i added that to the cart, another special popped up and said free shipping for any order over $30.00. Got both for $39.98 / no sales tax. Arrived friday and installed memory. If i had gone to the show do u know if the prices would have been better. Feel like i got a reasonable deal. Laptop is flying with the extre memory and am happy.

you got a good deal.

you -may- have found it for that price at the show, but it's doubtful.

I use to go fairly often but the stuff turned to cheap chineese junk pretty much so I quit going a few years back.

Went Sunday, I was a little leery to buy anything when I overheard one of the vendors tell someone they could call him direct in Hong Kong if he had a problem.:yikes:
