Expensive, but fun! Who else went? Even with the rain and mud lots of people were out and about, cheering, drinking, and being merry.

I got cheered because I know how to four wheel through mud. Go me!

Did anyone else take pictures or video of the races? I took a lot more than I thought I did. I went through the pony race pictures and will check the steeplechase shots later.

Love the kid in the yellow... he has the makings of a fine jockey... I'll have to find out who's kid he is, but I have a guess!

Great pix.
We were there.. had the living room couch, rug, end tables and lamp... I didn't get merry but my girlfriends husband enjoyed some moonshine and passed out before the hurdles race. I didn't get stuck but so many others did... It was a good day and no really bad falls!

Oh, and my friend whose hubby passed out.... well, apparently she had too much as well and her maiden mare went last night on her! She missed the whole thing. (All is well- a really cute buckskin colt by Max)

I was there!! My sis was an outrider. she was on the grey who couldnt seem to stand still. I mostly hung by the rail fetching food for the outriders, and babysitting a couple friends from the track who were a weeeee bit intoxicated lol. would have been soooo much better if it werent so wet.

I was there! We had a hilltop tailgate spot (Steuart's parents' spot) - invited several friends, but because it was so &%$# cold, not many came. What happened to spring anyhow??

In like a lion out like a lamb?!?! I rode last night, brrr. Peanut loved it and we were jumping so it was even better and his girlfriend (a Friesian mare) was there so he was really happy. I'd be happy with the temps if the sun would come out and the rain would take a little break.

I hope you guys had a good time! We were down on the starting line rail. There were lots of under those tents! I had some Dr. McGillicuddy's MentholMint Schnapps. It's yummy! And, I was making Midori MelonSours and we had mimosa's with Asti, a veggie tray, and meat on the barbie!
