Marlborough Hunt Races

coming this Sunday! Who all is going? I'll be riding a friend's sorrel QH mare in a 1 mile flat race. I'm not really sure what race it is though.. lol.
Oh, I think it's the 10th race. Maryland Steeplechasing

*10TH RACE—YOUNG ADULT FLAT RACE–HORSES
The Lansdale G. Sasscer Memorial

About 1 mile, open to amateur riders 15-18-year olds, riding horses 4 yrs. old and up on the flat. Rider’s age given at entry. Any rider younger than 15 must seek approval from the committee before entering. Catch weights. $50 Groom Award.

Last year we rode in the first race for large ponies.

Hopefully it'll be alot of fun, it was last year (despite the rain). I'll be scratching though if the weather is bad or the grounds are super muddy/too slippery.

So, anybody planning on attending?

I'll be there!!! LOL I'm hoping for a miracle...It would be so awesome if you won on Lena and Charla won on Whitey...or even if Whitey runs in the top 3 or 4. Charla said that one of your races is at 4 and one at 4:30..she dosent know which is which, or at least she didnt tell me.

oooo they have flat races?! Meaning no jumps? But you have to be in english/ hunt attire, right? Hmmm i could do that... Whens the next one?
