Marriage counseling books/workbooks??

...ok, so I'm in the book section of a dept. store. This very nice young, pregnant woman comes up to me and asks, "Do you know where I can find marriage counseling books or workbooks?"

I sent her to Bay Books, it's the only book store I know of. In the off chance that maybe she be a forumite, does anyone have any suggestions?

I felt so bad for her.

You felt so bad for her, why? You assumed something was wrong with her. You asked for suggestions in case she was a forumite. Why? You assumed something was wrong with her.

Does it matter WHY??!! Sheez! :smack: I just don't understand why people can't accept that some of us just want to help out no matter what their reasoning is.

...too. If I was pregnant, I wouldn't want to be waddling around, pizzed off at the old man, having to search all over hells half acre to find whatever meager inventory they had to offer.

You tell her about the Internets? She can document it's all his fault and never have to leave the house.

She assumed something was wrong with her, because most happy-go-lucky people don't ordinarily cry in public.

And she was concerned for her, because that is what most compassionate people would do.

:yeahthat: I was preggo with my firstborn when I first watched "Dances with Wolves" and when it got to the end of the movie where the dumbazzes were killing the wolves for sport I burst into tears and totally spazzed... hollering at my husband demanding an explanation as to why men are such azzes and thru my hot tears was totally pizzed at him for being a man and feared my unborn child would be male.

I was all better the next day.
