Little bit of an overreaction, it just requires that ICE gets a warrant to get help from the state. Still needs to be passed by the state Senate and the governor. Definitely a load of hogwash that's built off of what the Democrats perceive as "good vibes" so that they can claim a moral victory for the poor oppressed non-citizen.
None of this really benefits anyone. It doesn't even really help the illegal immigrants because ICE could probably get them without the state's help anyways if they tried.
