State Police Maryland State Police Investigating Fatal Crash In Baltimore County

(WHITE MARSH, MD) – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle crash that occurred early this morning in Baltimore County.

Shortly after 3:40 a.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police JFK Barrack responded on a report of a crash on I-95 North just north of Route 43 in White Marsh, Maryland. According to a preliminary investigation, a 2006 Infinity G35 for unknown reasons left the roadway and sideswiped a 2013 Lincoln that was on the shoulder before striking a concrete barrier.

After the Infinity struck the concrete barrier, it continued and struck a parked tractor-trailer before it became disabled underneath of it. The driver of the Infinity, identified as Lisa Ann Schaefer, 33, of Forest Hill, Maryland, was declared deceased at the scene.

Multiple lanes were blocked for several hours after the crash. I-95 was completely reopened by 8:25 a.m. The Maryland State Police Crash Team and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division are assisting in this investigation.
