At about 8:10 p.m. on Friday, Maryland State Police responded to the 900 block of North Division Street in Salisbury, Maryland for a report of a shooting. According to a preliminary investigation, the victim, a male, was walking down the street when he was shot multiple times.
The victim, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was declared deceased at the scene by emergency medical service personnel. The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit is leading this investigation. Salisbury Police are assisting in this case.
