I am not in the least surprised at this. We all knew when Governor Moore was elected and with a democrat majority in the Maryland Legislature what was ahead for us. It was as sure as the sun rising in the morning, ,that taxes would be rising in Maryland.

I'm reading a book about the 70s and was reminded of when Gerald Ford refused to bail out NYC with federal funds. The headlines: "Ford to NYC: Drop Dead!"

So this city overspent and pissed away all their money, then it wanted OUR money - people who don't even live there - to fund their irresponsibility and corruption. And because Ford said no, HE is the bad guy. Not the Mayor, or the city council, certainly not the Governor. The Republican President is the bad guy.
